Spica, leading SE European provider of personal identification solutions is releasing new access control platform based on multi-channel controller called DOX. The new controller is accompanied with DOX Console, universal wall mounted touch screen module.

DOX Controller brings numerous improvements over existing Spica controllers adding more channels, more memory, faster processor, better networking with improved security and easier maintenance.

The most exciting DOX feature is optional module called DOX Console, Spica's own innovative concept for providing generic user interface to personal identification applications like time&attendance recording. DOX Console is also targeted at other less obvious solutions like hotel room management and similar room control and monitoring applications.

DOX Console will compete against less compact and more costly all-in-one touch screen devices

Initially, DOX Controller and DOX Console will be sold exclusively with Spica's own Time&Space software for access control and time/attendance management. Support for 3rd party integration will be added later this year.
