Can we get some samples
for evaluation?
Yes. What we have is
Time&Space Evaluation
Kit available for potential partners at a special
price. This kit is for demonstration/evaluation purposes
only and includes complete and fully functional access
control and time/attendance system for 25 users.
Can we order Evaluation Kit without applying for
partnership?
Sorry no. The Kit is available to selected partners and
prospects only.
Can we get only demo software (no hardware)?
Sorry no. We believe that the system can be
properly
evaluated and demonstrated only as a whole.
What is your preferred method of shipment?
For smaller to medium shipments, we are always suggesting
express carriers (DHL, UPS, TNT). The cost difference is
justified by much faster delivery, simplified customs
procedure and less hassle in general.
Does your hardware support 110V electricity (North &
South America)?
Yes.
Does your hardware comply with US regulations (UL)?
Our Time terminals (DOG series) and Space terminals (BOX
series) have been tested and approved according to EU
regulations and carry CE mark. UL certification is on the way.
Can we use Spica Time&Space terminals
(DOG/BOX series) with our own or 3rd party software?
Offline (file transfer) integration with
customer or 3rd party software is possible using special
communication software (Event Collector Stand Alone - ECSA).
Online integration is possible only as a custom development
project.
Can we communicate with Time and Space terminals
(DOG/BOX) series directly (online) from our own or 3rd party
software?
Yes, that would be possible using Time&Space SDK
(Software Development Kit).
Can we communicate with Time&Space
terminals (DOG/BOX series) directly from our own or 3rd
party software without any software from Spica?
No. Direct hardware connectivity is not
supported.
Could we use Time&Space software with
clocking terminals from other manufacturers?
Support for other terminals could be
added under special agreement, as a custom development
project. Can we integrate
Time&Space terminals (DOG/BOX series) with popular ERP packages
(SAP, Oracle BS, MS Dynamics...)?
Yes, as a custom integration project.
