HID |
| HID is worldwide No. 1 manufacturer of proximity card technology. As of 2nd half of 2006 Spica is gradually adpoting HID as its 1st choice. Spica supports both HID's generations of products, Classic (125kHz) and iClass (proximity smartcard). Open reader policy

Our important competitive advantage is ability to integrate
wide range of card reader brands and technologies. In the
past, Spica has successfully integrated cards and readers from
various brands including Cotag, HID, Legic, Keri and others.
Original or compatible cards can be purchased directly from
Spica International. The information for a particular brand is
available upon request at info@spica.com.
Open reader policy allows cards from different vendors to
be used together even within the same system, which is
becoming increasingly important with the proliferation of
various new ID technologies and lack of standards.

Combination of various card technologies on the same card
is the solution in situations where the same card is needed
for different applications or used in different systems. Spica
International can provide various combination of contact
chipcard, proximity, magstripe and barcode cards. More
