 Workforce Planning (TS Roster)

Workforce scheduling can be a complex process with no single or simple solution. Many aspects of scheduling and shift planning are already implemented throughout Time&Space with rule-based tools like Working Plan and Working Scheme. Time&Space Roster module (TSR for short) provides even more efficient schedule management alternative for some most demanding and exceptional cases, such as:
  • Shift patterns being too complex or frequently overridden
  • Haphazard and unpredictable scheduling
  • One-off, temporary reassignments
  • Shift movements for ad-hoc employee groups

In essence, TSR is an interactive tool with graphical interface based on two-dimensional calendar grid (people/days) enabling bulk ad-hoc shift assignments.

Using TSR, complex scheduling moves can be achieved in three quick steps:

  • adjusting the view scope with sorting and filtering criteria
  • selecting people and date range on the calendar grid
  • fapplying a schedule or other daily assignment

All TSR operations, just like any other event-level edits in Time&Space, can be done at any time, either in advance or retroactively. All changes are processed in realtime.

Time&Space Roster has been designed with most dynamic, staff-intensive industries in mind, like retail, healthcare and hospitality. But any other working environment with similar requirements can benefit from it just as well.
