Frontman V4 uses data synchronization instead of full data
transfers. Only changes made since the last synchronization
between mobile and stationary part will be transferred and
connection time will be shorter. FTP server is no longer needed
as Frontman V4 uses MS IIS and Web Services instead. As a result
Frontman Mobile terminals will need to establish on-line access
to Frontman Communicator from time to time.

Support for GSM/GPRS communication

Any type of IP communication that can be setup on mobile
terminals can be used for Frontman communication. Tested
communication methods include: integrated GSM/GPRS, GSM/GPRS
over IR or Bluetooth, modem over cable, Integrated WLAN, PC
connection over Active Sync and cable or IR.
