Experience with the introduction of Time&Space

undefined“After several months of research and collecting quotes, we decided to implement the time and attendance system from Špica Sustavi, d.o.o. In addition to the high-quality hardware and accessible user interface, their biggest advantage is the team— available and fully committed to the project, from initial implementation to daily support via the help desk,” said Nikola Paić, OG2 Factory Director.

The system was implemented in a very short time and fully tailored to Bjelina’s business model. In the three months of use, employee registration and administration have not only been simplified, but some operational errors that surfaced after implementation have also been identified and corrected.

Access control introduced in Bjelovar to improve security

Bjelin, d.o.o. is a rapidly developing and growing company. Its technological progress has resulted in an increase in the number of employees, both in production and development. This expansion has led to more complex working time management, requiring a high-quality, reliable system for recording working hours. Time and attendance tracking is not only a legal requirement (under the labor act), but also a modern solution to enhance productivity and identify employees who perform at a high standard during working hours. A time and attendance tracking system has been implemented at the Bjelin, d.o.o. facilities in Ogulin and Bjelovar. Additionally, access control has been introduced in Bjelovar to enhance the company’s security.

50 employees have the ability to log in via mobile phones

Employees use RFID badges to register, and 50 employees have also been enabled to register their working hours via mobile phones. The advantage of this method is that employees can log in from any location and at any time.

Additionally, geolocation is enabled to verify the exact location from which an employee has logged in or out. The system does not track the employee’s location at all times, only at the points of login and logout.

Department heads plan employees’ working hours in detail using the Time&Space online module, which allows them to analyze working hours, record absences, and generate reports. Time&Space provides a detailed breakdown of all types of remuneration and an automatic transfer to the payroll software, resulting in further optimization.

The system is fully GDPR compliant, recording and providing an overview of who has accessed employee data, when, and what actions were taken, as well as working hours data (technological and organizational measures to protect the data).

Results:

  • Reduced administrative workload and increased savings
  • Accurate and legally compliant working time records
  • Badge and mobile registration options available
  • Integration with payroll system
  • Quick generation and overview of high-quality reports
