The biggest homegrown ace: Juicy juices

Stanić Beverages and Maraska are members of the Stanić Group.

Stanić Beverages is the leading regional producer of juices and fruit drinks. The most recognizable brand in the company’s portfolio is Juicy, which holds a dominant market position in Croatia. The company’s production center in Croatia is located in Jastrebarsko, and its products are present in more than 30 countries.

Maraska is one of the best-known companies in the beverage production segment and has been a member of the Stanić Group since 2022. A modern production facility with five dedicated beverage production lines is located in Zadar, which is also the company’s headquarters.

Maraschino is exported to as many as 23 countries.

The company’s most recognizable brand is Zadarski Maraschino, an indigenous Croatian drink with global recognition. The company’s development is driven by 135 employees. With their work, employees ensure that the company is recognized in 23 countries around the world.

“Time and attendance is much more than just punching in…”

Before implementing SPICA’s All Hours system, the companies Stanić and Maraska kept time and attendance records manually, which given the number of employees and the complexity of organizational processes was a major challenge.

In addition, manual time and attendance tracking is not suitable, because such data is often inaccurate and the archive can also be lost. Implementing a digital time and attendance system prevented such scenarios.

“It is often mistakenly assumed that time and attendance is merely ‘clocking in’ employees with a card. That this is not the case is evident from the functionalities we implemented in both companies,” say the Stanić Beverages Group.

Solution: Geolocation prevents abuse

To ensure better monitoring and recording of employees’ working time, both companies introduced SPICA’s All Hours system, which, with its functionalities and flexibility, ensures the accuracy of collected data in real time. The system imposes no restrictions on adding new employees.

This SPICA's solution is currently used by more than 300 employees, both at Stanić Beverages and at Maraska. In addition to standard clock-in and clock-out, workers in both companies can clearly manage their leave requests as well, achieving a high level of information management.

Five authorization groups have been defined, and eight different hourly rates have been set for the work schedule. Five time registration devices have been installed at the locations where employees can clock in.

With the help of geolocation, the system can verify who clocked in, when, and where. Two different reports have also been configured. In addition, exporting data for payroll processing is, of course, enabled.
