Every clock-in registered on the mobile app is accompanied with GPS coordinates. SPICA All Hours pinpoints the exact location of the clocking event, so that you know where your employees are when they start working. This feature prevents cheating and ‘buddy punching’ by providing transparency.

Geofencing

For even more control, SPICA All Hours offers Geofencing, a feature which designates that employees can only clock in and out when they are at a specified location. As an administrator, you can designate the locations where your employees are allowed to register their hours.

Bluetooth beacons are small and inexpensive battery-powered devices. Beacons allow you to distinguish positions on location, allowing you to know who clocked in and out in different rooms, and not just different addresses.

Beacons come with a battery that lasts for several years and they don’t require an internet connection.

SPICA All Hours uses Bluetooth Beacons to limit clocking to when an iBeacon is nearby. This way you can ensure that your employees are exactly where they should be when clocking in.

Employees can clock in simultaneously when they are in the range of a beacon.

Beacons are also a popular tool because of their simplicity. Employees can easily see when they are in the range of a beacon, and their clocking options automatically become available.

You or your managers can add beacons to your SPICA All Hours account with ease. Just connect the beacon to your account, assign it a name and you’re all done.

Clocking locations will then be marked with the appropriate beacon’s name, allowing administrators to easily see who clocked in and at which location.
