Newly built Starwood Hotel, Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera Hotel, is the largest hotel and congress Center in Croatia, suited to organize regional and international conferences and events. Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera Hotel features 239 rooms, and 11 luxurious suites.

Challenge

According to the high standards renome of Sheraton brand name, the board of the hotel followed the Starwood recommendation to implement ASSA ABLOY Hospitality solutions and reliably gain security level, appropriate for Sheraton guests’ expectations.

Solution

Sheraton Dubrovnik decided to install Classic Satin Chrome RFID room door locks, along with Visionline software system and Setinel digital in-room safes.

Installation of the locks and safes was implemented within one week, the software was online and integrated with their PMS system within a day and due to the local ASSA ABLOY Hospitality integrator, hotel’s other online systems were integrated as well. Therefore, the hotel’s processes are lean and highly efficient.

Training for staff, working on three workstations for cards issuing; board and IT department was done within a few hours.

As the hotel opened, the locks did not only represent the highest security level but intertwine amazingly with the modern interior of the hotel. Classic RFID locks were designed for more guest satisfaction, they present unmatched ease of use for the guest of all ages since there is no need for keycard insertion which makes its usage simple and intuitive. The solution also provides more security with its anti-cloning, encrypted technology for the guests and staff.
